An advanced editor required an icon design update for Mac OS X Yosemite. The client hired Pictogram to redesign all the icons, from the preferences to in-app icons and elements.
The colors in the icons were strongly paletted after the overall Mac OS X Yosemite ‘Californian Sunset’ look and
feel, and updated for various use cases like high resolution and lower resolution displays.
Pictogram worked with the client to establish a set of icons and a unified color scheme throughout the application. The icons help abstract some of the more complex features of the editor.
The design of the application icon was prescribed by the client. Pictogram designed a set of strong icons for the mini-toolbar of the editor and its quick functions.
